D365 Setup cannot continue because there is pending restart required. Error while installing Report Authoring Extension for SSRS

While installing D365 Report Authoring Extension, we might face an error message which won't allow setup to complete. 

“Setup cannot continue because there is a pending restart required. Restart the computer and then try running Setup again”.

Restarting the machine several times didn't fix this issue. 

To fix this issue you might have to delete below keys from the registry. To open registry editor we 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windwos\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
